Hand Position
With both thumbs behind the camera place two
ngers of your left hand and your right ring nger
on the Focusing Collar next to the Fine Focus Knobs.
Before focusing, center the Fine Focus Knobs in the
middle of their range, midway between the Metal
Rods.

Unlock your Lensbaby
To unlock, squeeze the two Release Knobs at the
bottom of the Focusing Collar completely together.

Exposure Mode
Most SLR cameras will work in aperture priority
mode. Most Nikon users will set the camera to Manual
Mode. Sony/Maxxum users: please consult your
insert.

Initial Focus
When uncompressed your Lensbaby focuses 18”
away. Slowly compress your Lensbaby straight back
without bending until the subject in the center of
your image comes into focus.
